Adapters, if used judiciously, can complement your test setups and existing test cables. Adapters should only be used at one end in a test setup to change the type and/or gender of your test cable. In other words, do not daisy chain or use adapters at both ends of a cable simultaneously. Adapters need to be high quality (which these of course are) and must be replaced with signs of aging or wear (usually after 500 on/off cycles).
