A must have item for use with some signal generators such as the Aeroflex 2975 and Anritsu S412E. Provides 20 dB of attenuation for those sources that do not provide a low enough RF level for receiver testing. These attenuators will also improve accuracy by reducing mismatch uncertainty. Insertion Loss test data at 150, 450, and 900 MHz is included.

By keeping the heat out of your test equipment you increase accuracy and longevity. Also, pay close attention to that power rating: it is usually only applicable to a 20% duty cycle!
